Enjoy the Tastes of Boston During Restaurant Week!

One of the best ways to get a feel for a city is through its food, and luckily for us; Boston offers an array of mouthwatering options for any palette! From French, Mediterranean and Italian, to Argentinean, Mexican, Greek and other distinct flavors; you can taste the world without ever leaving the charming streets of Boston. Of course those living in Boston chose to settle within its historic atmosphere for a variety of reasons. Whether the early Americana environment, top educational institutions, unique things to do or the urban lifestyle drew you to buy a home in Boston; the surprising icing on the cake is the diversity of its local fare.

With all the amazing food from which to choose; it’s no wonder that a favorite time of the year happens to be going on right now! Restaurant Week Boston 2011 kicked off this past Sunday and offers casual eaters and refined gastronomes the opportunity to taste Boston’s finest fare for a fraction of the cost! Restaurant week runs from March 6-11 & 13-18; so you’ll want to be sure to sample as many restaurants as possible!

This year, there are 226 restaurants participating, with a set menu and price of a 2 course lunch for $15.11, a 3 Course lunch for $20.11 and a 3 course dinner for $33.11. Restaurant Week sponsors, Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau and American Express, desire to give back to the community through this tasty event. For every diner that uses an American Express card at a participating restaurant; .25 will be donated to the Women’s Lunch Place which has been offering food and shelter to women in need since 1982.
