Upcoming Fall Events in Boston!

Fall is a beautiful time of year in Boston, MA. Hopefully you prepared your Boston home for the season with my fall decorating tips from my blog a couple weeks ago, and now you’re ready to go out and enjoy the season’s festivities! Though summer officially ends tomorrow, the Boston fall season continues with an array of fun events.

As your Boston Real Estate agent, I am here to ensure that your buying or selling process goes as smoothly and pain-free as possible! That means that while I work hard to ensure your success in the Boston Real Estate market, you’ve got some time to go out and enjoy the local sites. To help you along, here are two upcoming festivals in Boston that you’re sure to enjoy.

Berklee Beantown Jazz Festival

Enjoy yourself while also making a difference in Boston at the Berklee BeanTown Jazz Festival this weekend! It runs from Sept. 23 to Sept. 25 on Columbus Avenues, between Burke Street and Massachusetts Avenue.

All proceeds from this annual event go to the Berklee City Music program, which helps urban students broaden their musical talents and get a start on educational knowledge for their music concentrations in college. While supporting this great cause, you get to enjoy a whole slew of live jazz entertainment by global performers and Berklee students and faculty. Some of the concerts cost money and others are free. You can view the whole performance schedule at the event’s website.

Bring the kids along too! They can enjoy the inflatables, face painting and petting zoo, and you can all enjoy good food and a lively atmosphere. Who knows? Maybe your child will even grow up to be a future Berklee City Music program performer!

Boston Local Food Festival

Next weekend, Oct. 1, there is a festival coming to the city that has free admission and revolves around food. Does it get any better than that?

Head to the Boston Local Food Festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. along the Boston Waterfront in Fort Point Channel to celebrate eating local food sourced in Boston, Massachusetts and New England. To celebrate, you get to savor a variety of produce, seafood and prepared dishes created with local ingredients. All the while, you can converse with local farmers and chefs while viewing exhibits and watching demonstrations.

Then, partake in the locally crafted beer and wine tasting! If you have a vegetable garden, you can even bring some of your fresh produce and participate in the Crop Share. Local musicians will be playing all day and there will be a Family Fun Zone for the kids to learn about locally grown food in a fun way.

Whether you partake in these festivities or other events happening around the Boston area, make sure you take the time to enjoy the outdoors before the winter season arrives! The seasons come and go, but the Boston Real Estate market is here to stay. So am I, your Boston Real Estate agent. If you’d like to buy a Boston home or sell your Boston home, contact me. I am always here to help!
