Celebrate Easter in Boston!

Can you believe it’s already the Easter holiday this weekend in Boston? Time flies! It seems like just yesterday that I was preparing for the busy Boston Real Estate market this spring, and here it is! Just as everything bursts back to life around us, so too does the market. As your Boston Real Estate agent, I’m ready to help you buy a home in Boston or sell your Boston home as soon as you are!

In the meantime, what are your Easter weekend plans in Boston? As usual, there are tons of Easter egg hunts, brunches and festivals happening all around the city. To help you plan your schedule, here are five events that caught my eye:

  • On Saturday, allow your kids to release built-up energy before Easter arrives! Bring them to the Second Annual Cambridge Community Easter Egg-Stravaganza at Cambridge Community Park! The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and features one of the largest Easter egg hunts around. Besides that, the kids can also enjoy games, prizes and more, all for the cost of nothing. It’s a great chance to socialize and snap some memorable, festive photos.
  • If you enjoy sleeping in, bring the family to the Easter Egg Hunt at AP Rounds Playground in Stoneham, MA for a free festivity for the whole family. Several hundred people are already signed up for the Easter egg hunt, which includes 2,000 eggs! The event takes place from 3 to 5 p.m. and also includes games, refreshments, a bake sale and a craft show. Donations are welcome to go toward purchasing playground equipment for the Rebuilding Rounds project.
  • Even your canine friends can enjoy the Easter holiday this year! Bring them and the whole family to Brookline Grooming & Pet Supplies in Brookline on Saturday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Brookline Grooming will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt, which begins promptly at 4:30 p.m., and they will offer coupon prizes and giveaways that your dog will thank you for!
  • At the Beehive in Boston, you don’t have to choose between an Easter brunch, an egg hunt or other types of entertainment, because you get them all! From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., you can enjoy world-class Jazz music while savoring dishes from one of two menus with prix fixe prices, either $25.95 or $34.05. From Greek Easter soup with lamp to eggs benedict with smoked salmon, you won’t leave disappointed. Also, the kids can order from the Little Bee’s Kids Menus, $12, right before partaking in the annual Beehive Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling 617-423-0069.
  • Go all out for Easter by taking a cruise on the Spirit of Boston! They provide a special buffet for the adults, an ice cream sundae bar to impress the kids, and an open juice and soda bar. The Easter Bunny even tags along on the trip, allowing for great memories and photo opportunities for the whole family. Everyone leaves with a goodie bag. Don’t forget all the dancing you’ll get to enjoy as well! You board the cruise at 4:30 p.m. and then enjoy the night from 5 to 8 p.m. Or, there is a lunch cruise from noon to 2 p.m. Call 866-310-2469 to book reservations!

Let me know what your Easter plans are by leaving me a comment! If you were unsure how to celebrate in Boston, hopefully this list helped you out. As your Boston Real Estate agent, I always want to make sure you’re enjoying your time in Boston to the fullest!

I also want to make sure that you take advantage of the Boston Real Estate market right now, while buying and selling conditions are improving. Home sales are up and have been up all year, home prices are expected to start increasing soon, mortgage rates are still low and banks will start loosening their restraints on mortgage loans.

If you have any questions, contact me! I’m always more than willing to help with your Boston real estate endeavors. Until then, enjoy your holiday weekend!
