Travel the World at Boston’s Spring Wine Fest!

This time of year in Boston brings with it a lot of April showers that leave us cooped up in our Boston homes for much of the season. These showers will bring with them May flowers, and then the Boston area will look beautiful! Until then, we’re sure most of you could use a night out.

As your Boston Real Estate agent, I suggest that you take Boston Event Guide up on their offer to send you traveling around the world in just one day! This is a great way to get to enjoy our great city even amidst the falling rain.

On Saturday, April 30, you can attend the Spring Wine Fest 2011 at the Boston Center for the Arts for less than $100, where you are provided an artificial passport. With this passport, you travel and taste fine wines from numerous countries around the world, along with gourmet food pairings, live entertainment, prize drawings and social networking opportunities.

Each year, Boston Event Guide puts on fall and spring wine festivals. The event is geared toward young professionals in their 20s, 30s and 40s who want to socialize and meet other young professionals. However, anyone over the age of 21 is welcome. It’s also an ideal event for people with expensive tastes and a tight budget. It allows you to escape the drab Boston weather for a day and to enjoy good company!

Tickets are available for the matinee tasting from noon to 3 p.m., afternoon tasting from 3 to 6 p.m. and night tasting from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets cost $59 through April 22 and $69 after that. They do sell out, so you should purchase as soon as possible!

Aside from savoring the flavors of worldwide wine samplings and gourmet food pairings, you will also receive ample education and information about the wines that you taste, live performances will entertain you throughout the event, and you can also enter drawings that give away items valued over $1,000.

As your Boston Real Estate agent, I am sure that this event will perk you up long enough to make it through Mother Nature’s moist season. In the meantime, now is a great time to begin planning to sell your Boston home, to see what’s currently available in the Boston market if you’re planning to buy a home and to meet your Boston Real Estate agent, who will help you through the entire process!

May flowers, we can’t wait to see you!
