Boston Market Statistics for the Week of 04/19/2013

For single family Boston properties there was a total of 355 homes listed as of April 19th. With an average of 2,301 square feet and 3.06 bedrooms, the median list price comes out to $499,500. 29 of the 355 homes were actually newly listed. Finally, with an average of 74 days on the market.

The numbers for Boston condos are promising. The median listing price was at $549,004 at a total inventory of 562. The average condo size is currently sitting at 1,615 square feet, along with an average of 2.59 bedrooms and 1.98 bathrooms. With an average of 144 days on the market, 59 of the 562 condos were absorbed.
