For single family Boston properties there was a total of 130 homes sold as of January 14th. With an average of 2,702 square feet and 3.89 bedrooms, the median list price comes out to $449,450. Only 10 or the 130 homes were actually newly listed. Finally, with an average of 153 days on the market, we are still at much lower numbers than March, however, we have seen a slight increase since November.
The numbers for Boston condos are promising. The median listing price was at $449,000 at a total inventory of 968. The average condo size is currently sitting at 1,227 square feet, along with an average of 2.23 bedrooms and 1.78 bathrooms. With an average of 132 days on the market, 49 of the 968 condos were absorbed.
